Antoinette Bush is an Oakland native with a lifelong passion for singing. Antoinette says “I am thrilled to be auditioning for my favorite radio station! I love KDFC and I have been listening to classical music since I was a little girl. That is probably what started my classical music adventure. I started singing and playing classical piano at the age of 4. My Mum would tell me that if I couldn’t sing or hum, I would whistle. It drove her crazy but she soon realized that there was something that she should pay attention to. I am an alumnus of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I started there at the age of 15. The youngest ever to be enrolled in the college program. Needless to say, I have performed with various opera companies in the bay area and still today I have been blessed with the gift of being able to produce something that people admire and love. Opera is the most beautiful music in the world and I am honored to be able to sing and give something back to the world.”
