The French Connection on The Opera Hour | Sunday, August 6 at 8PM

Join us for KDFC’s hour-long opera-centric broadcast the first Sunday of every month at 8pm. “The Opera Hour” is created and hosted by KDFC’s President Bill Lueth and SF Opera’s General Director Matthew Shilvock. It welcomes long-time opera fans and the opera curious who want to discover the magic of this music.

Bill Lueth says, “Opera has some of the most beautiful and dramatic moments in all of classical music. Matthew and I want to share this music with a larger audience, and invite more people to discover what makes opera so wonderful.”

Tune in for broadcasts the first Sunday of each month at 8pm! And see what’s coming up below.

Sunday, August 6, 2023
Matthew and Bill explore operatic highlights that have a certain je ne sais quoi about them – opera faorites by French composers, or that have their settings there. It’s “Opera à la mode” this time on KDFC’s Opera Hour!
