Tune In for a Week-Long Musical Celebration of “Monet: The Late Years”

Tune in all week long for the Music of Monet as we celebrate the de Young museum’s Monet: The Late Years. Inspired by the ever-changing scenery of his garden at Giverny, France, Monet painted some of his grandest works, including immersive, panoramic murals depicting the vibrant water lilies and lush wisteria that flourished under his care. Monet’s work was both an influence and influenced by the music of his time – composers such as Berlioz, Bizet, Chabrier, Debussy, Elgar, Faure, and Ravel. Monet: The Late Years is open now through May 27, 2019. Take a deeper look at Monet’s final period and skip the line by reserving your tickets ahead of time at deyoungmuseum.org/late-monet.
