This week's Classical Californian is Ray Chen! Violinist Ray Chen is one of the artists who made the Hollywood Bowl season sparkle, and this week, he's our Classical Californian, sharing selections that reveal his many musical sides. There will be some re-imaginings of Vivaldi, samples of his soloing with orchestral Mozart and Bruch, a chamber arrangement honoring Australia (where he grew up), as well as a social media-conceived work from his most recent recording, Player One. (And he'll be playing later this week with the San Francisco Symphony!) Tune in Wednesday Night at 7pm!
