Daniel Waldhecker
This week our Classical Californian is violinist Daniel Hope, who's the Music Director and Concertmaster of the San Francisco-based New Century Chamber Orchestra, as well as being a sought-after soloist, chamber performer and recording artist. He was previously a member of the Beaux Arts Trio, and one of his early mentors was Yehudi Menuhin; when Hope was still very young, he and his parents moved to England, where his mother got a job as Menuhin's secretary. He's also currently the Music Director of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra. He's selected works from many corners of his musical interests. Tune in Wednesday Night at 7pm!
