From 8am to 6pm each day, KDFC takes you to a new destination with every 3-song set of music. And throughout our travels, you’ll have a chance to win airfare to the one place you’ve always wanted to go: anywhere in the world.
The KDFC DJ’s are your tour guides. To qualify for the Grand Prize, you’ll need to remember 3 destinations you visit musically during their on-air shift – a country, a region, perhaps a specific concert hall or even a fictional realm.
Each day at about 11am, 3pm, and 6pm, be ready to call 415-975-KDFC (5332). If you’re the 12th caller and can name 3 correct musical sites, you'll win a $100 gift certificate from a noted Bay Area restaurant -- and qualify for the Grand Prize.
Restaurants include McCormick and Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant at Ghirardelli Square, specializing in contemporary and traditional dishes with 30 fresh selections daily made from ingredients gathered worldwide. And Spenger's Seafoof Grotto in Berkeley, one of the Bay Area's best-known restaurants and at the forefront of fresh seafood at its best since 1890's.
