On April 21, the field drops to 3 finalists in the two age groups (10-20;21+). April 7-12, the KDFC spotlight is on the most exciting, promising and glamorous artists on the classical scene – and they’re all under 30 years old. The Prize @ Five that week will be tickets to see the live taping of ‘From the Top’ May 29 in Berkeley, as KDFC and Cal Performances bring the national radio show – and some of the country’s top teenage classical musicians -- to Berkeley. Music Week
We need your help April 14-18 to give away $15,000 to school music programs across the Bay Area. Each day at about 7:15am and 3:15pm – before and after school -- we’ll ask for a ‘Save School Music Call.’ The 10th caller wins the chance to tell us what school music program will receive a $1,500 donation.
