KDFC Music Educator of the Year Award

KDFC’s 9th annual Music Educator of the Year Award is a way to celebrate some very important local heroes -- the teachers and mentors making a difference in music classrooms across the Bay Area.

Has a music teacher inspired you, touched the life of a child, made a difference in your community? Share your story.

In 200 words or less, tell KDFC why a particular teacher, professor or music director should be honored. We encourage personal accounts from all ages – from students, parents, peers and neighbors -- about a notable school music instructor in your community. KDFC will donate $1,000 to the school of the teacher named the 2008 Music Educator of the Year.

Use the space below, or write us at KDFC Music Award, 201 Third Street #1200, San Francisco CA 94103. The deadline is Sunday, May 11 at midnight.
