Highlights of performances recorded live at the KDFC studios in San Francisco.
New! Zuill Bailey
One of the pre-eminent cellists of his generation, Bailey is a rare combination of compelling artistry, technical finesse and engaging personality.

Simone Dinnerstein.
The Juilliard drop-out with no contract, no bookings and few prospects makes a debut at Carnegie Hall (with Bach’s demanding “Goldberg” variations, no less) that so stuns and amazes the critics that she becomes a star very nearly overnight. Classical piano isn’t supposed to work that way. But it did, in 2005, for Simone Dinnerstein. The acclaim continued with the release of her first CD last summer, which earned the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Classical chart.

Ludovico Einaudi
Popular in Europe, where he’s topped the Classical charts, the Italian pianist was relatively unknown in this country… until KDFC discovered him. His private concert for KDFC was his first ever in the U.S.

Christopher O’Riley
The host of KDFC’s ‘From the Top’ challenges the boundaries of both classical and rock music. See a track from his inspired program, “Reimaginings: Radiohead and Shostakovich.”

Marc-Andre Hamelin
Montréal native Marc-André Hamelin, an internationally renowned soloist who made his name playing rare and adventurous repertoire, was the first artist in the KDFC Intimate Concert series.
